Doctor of 护理 Practice (DNP)

"The Doctorate in 护理 Practice is the next step for nurses to reach the peak of education in their desired profession. Our DNP will allow nurses to design, implement 和 complete a project of their choosing 和 then have the opportunity to share their knowledge with the nursing community to better improve patient care or processes.

一个领导者, 教育家, 和 advanced practice nurse that currently serves as the Associate Dean of 护理 for Graduate 幸运28计划, Dr. Wagner has a practice specialty as both an adult-gerontology 和 psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She completed her 文凭 RN 和 BSN in Springfield, 密苏里州 和 her MSN 和 DNP through the University of South 阿拉巴马州, 移动. She has 30 years’ experience in 医疗保健 with 20 years as a nursing executive in both academia 和 医疗保健 organizations. She has been ensuring that nurses have the opportunity to reach their desired education potential for many years.

Dr. Wagner is instrumental in developing new 程序s within the academic setting for both the undergraduate, graduate 和 doctoral 程序s. Dr. Wagner has led initiatives for organizations to include Dedicated Education Units 和 护理 Residency 幸运28计划 (RNs 和 NPs) for both undergraduate 和 graduate nursing 程序s. She has successfully obtained grant funding to support the growth of students in their chosen specialty 和 support the organizations where they obtain the education.
